DjangoCon Scholarships
Mozilla is committed to increasing female attendance at DjangoCon. DjangoCon US is held in DC this year, tutorials on Sept 3, talks on Sept 4 - 6th, and sprints 7-8th. And all Django centric!
If you, or know any women interested in attending this conference and need financial assistance for travel and/or conference passes, please fill out this application or pass the info along. We understand it’s quite short notice, and we’re trying to act quick. While the application is due next Friday, we will evaluate applications on a rolling basis, and have a decision within 24 hours.
If you previously applied for a PyLadies scholarship for DjangoCon (we already ran a scholarship campaign, but people won’t stop being generous to us!), and did not receive an award, we encourage you to apply again.

DjangoCon US is the main opportunity for djangonauts to come together in the United States. It will consist of two tracks of talks over three days, and will also provide for open sessions, lightning talks, and a development sprint after the conference.
DjangoCon US provides a critical opportunity for the community members to socialize, share ideas, work together, and plan for continued success.

About
A group for Python ladies of all levels of programming experience, in the NYC metro area.
Pyladies is an international mentorship group with a focus on helping more women become active participants and leaders in the Python open-source community. Our mission is to promote, educate and advance a diverse Python community through outreach, education, conferences, events and social gatherings.
PyLadies also aims to provide a friendly support network for women and a bridge to the larger Python world. Anyone with an interest in Python is encouraged to participate!
